Corneal Ulcer

So, I 've been playing the part of experimental child again and am here to tell you things you should probably not do to your body.
First, don't wear contacts in a pool (especially not repeatedly like me) unless you're going to take them out and rinse them. That could be good to know.
Second, don't wear your lenses longer than it says on the box. Even if your last doctor said it would probably be ok to wear them up to six weeks instead of four.
The result of the combination of the last two tokens of advice is a "corneal ulcer."
Side effects: red eye, pain, different dialation, sensitivity to light, tearing and discharge, etc.
Prolonged suffering without care can lead to bad news for your eye. Thankfully, I went in the next day. Treatment?: Steroid eye drops every two hours until next wednesday- and some goopy stuff at night.

These aren't the greatest pictures, I took them myself. The swelling got worse afterwards- you should have seen it. I'm fine now. Well, on drops atleast.
Cute huh?!

Oh Christy,
I'm so sorry, that looks awful. I hope you feel better. I'm glad you went to the doctor right away. Can you wear your glasses?
Good Luck over the next week.
Love you.

....um I guess that means this pair of lens that I've been wearing for the last 2 months..(rated only for 2 weeks and not at night) should come out?

I'm so sorry, I have to agree with Amy in a lovingly sister way, you do look awefull...but still cute.

So I was wondering what are the effects of other household chemicals with the body? Since you were in the experimental stage of life, I thought I would find out what else you were going to try.

Just think when this is all said and done you'll have a good reference history for all your future children...and you actually know what your talking about. Your kids will say "don't do that, my mom did and it didn't turn out so good." j/k

I love you xoxoxo I'd recommend chicken noodle soup but I don't think it would help...but I am SURE that a gell mask would you can pick them up at any store in the "spa and makeup section" they are gell in a eye mask shape that you cool in the freezer. It will feel so great and you can heat them too.

Hope you feel better.
