So, I got a job.

I got a call from North Star. I'm going to be teaching 6th grade. I can either have my same room or switch two rooms down. I think I'll switch since we just got all the 4th grade things settled for the new interns. It'll be a good change. That means lots of work for me this summer! I'm glad to be teaching 6th instead of 5th. (But deep down I still wish it was 4th. Oh well.) It will be good to be working close to Leif again.
We're going to Wicked tonight!!!! Wahoo!! We're so excited. More later!

VACATION

School finally ended! I was checked out within a half an hour of the kids leaving. I wish I could say my house looked as good as my classroom. I have a phone interview at 9:00 Utah time with my same school for a 5th or 6th grade position. I want 6th.
So Leif and I made it all the way to Ann's in Indi (well, close enough) and then we finally landed here in NY. Now don't you all want to know what we've done? Well, you'll just have to come see us and ask us! Alright, alright. I'll give you a few hints. Indi has a great ZOO! Ehre is a great talker! Ben is adorable. Ann and Jeff are both fanatics about walking in the rain... and so far the whole 3 hours in New York has proved that A) Yes, there is a lot of traffic. B) Amy and Mary are at least healthy and happy.

More highlights to come... I need a nap!

I feel that mom's picture did not do justice to what I look like. I also feel that this picture does not do justice to what I look like. Alas, I suppose nothing will.
Suppose I told you all that I was fond of you... do you feel shocked? scared? hurt? tricked? loved? happy? confused? or a little of all seven? I thought you all should know that you are great people to an extent (yes, I do know about your under-the-table schemes during Risk, Leif). I also think that this blog idea is a good idea, due to the fact that none of us see each other very much, and talking is something that is a luxury to only a minority in the family.
